Core Exchange

Sony Canada applies a "core charge", or deposit, to many repair parts to encourage the return of defective parts for refurbishing and redeployment. Increasing recoverable parts will allow Sony to minimize parts prices.

The core charge is credited back once the part is received in acceptable condition. Parts that are returned in unacceptable condition will not be salvageable and will not allow Sony to reduce parts prices.

Depot support by following these instructions is vital to the success of this program.
