TORONTO, September 21, 2009 – As a proud supporter of Girl !mpact, an innovative non-profit whose mission is to empower girls to champion each other creating the most direct route to positive social change, Sony Canada is giving eleven local girls the latest Cyber-shot® digital camera and accessories to shoot spectacular panoramas from the height of their adventure atop Mount Kilimanjaro. The girls will take breathtaking panoramic images using Sony's DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot® digital camera featuring Sweep Panorama Mode. They'll also take along the new Sony GPS-CS3KA Image Tracker, to geotag their images so they can easily map their photos of mountains, wildlife, and sunsets. Matching Sony camera cases will protect the cameras from the elements, and Sony batteries and memory sticks will ensure they never miss the perfect shot.
