TORONTO, Ontario -- Sony of Canada Ltd., Canada's leading electronic and computer products solutions provider for consumers and business, today announced that customers who buy selected industry-leading Sony Grand WEGA™ and Sony BRAVIA™ with a Sony RDR-GX330 DVD recorder are eligible to receive $100 by mail-in rebate.

Effective from June 1 to July 10, 2006, or while quantities last, customers who purchase select 40" to 60" large-screen models of the Grand WEGA rear-projection LCD (liquid crystal display) TV or BRAVIA flat-panel LCD TV with an RDR-GX330 DVD recorder are eligible to receive a cheque for $100 from Sony.

The RDR-GX330 DVD recorder has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $349.99. Qualifying Grand WEGA and BRAVIA TVs have MSRPs starting at $1,999.99 and 3,499.99, respectively.
