BUY A SELECTED SONY DVD HANDYCAM CAMCORDER AND GET UP TO FIVE BONUS DVD+RW DISCS BY MAIL-IN REBATE

Sony 8cm. DVD+RW discs feature industry-leading AccuCORE technology

TORONTO, Ontario -- Sony of Canada Ltd., Canada's leading electronic and computer products solutions provider for consumers and business, today announced details of a limited time promotion that will afford those customers who purchase selected marketshare-leading DVD Handycam camcorders up to five bonus Sony 8cm. (centimetre) DVD+RW discs with  AccuCORE technology by mail-in rebate.

Effective June 1 to July 31, 2006, inclusive and while quantities last, consumers who buy a DCR-DVD105 DVD Handycam camcorder will receive two Sony 8 cm. DVD+RW discs by mail-in rebate. Similarly, consumers who purchase a DCR-DVD205, DCR-DVD305, DCR-DVD405 or DCR-DVD505 DVD Handycam camcorder will receive five Sony 8 cm. DVD+RW discs by mail-in rebate.

The qualifying DVD Handycam camcorders have manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRPs) starting at $649.99. Sony 8 cm. DVD+RW discs have MSRPs of $11.99 each.
