TORONTO, Ontario -- Sony of Canada Ltd., Canada's leading electronic and computer products solutions provider for consumers and business, today announced details of a limited time promotion that will afford customers who pre-order the Company's new technology-leading Sony ? (pronounced alpha) DSLR camera with selected lenses and/or accessories are eligible to receive a $50 discount at time of purchase.

Effective today until July 15, 2006, consumers who pre-order the Sony ? DSLR-A100 (digital single lens reflex) camera and selected lenses – SAL18200, SAL50M28 and SAL50F14 or selected accessories – AC-VQ900AM, HVL-F36AM/F56AM, LCL-60AM/90AM, LCS-AMA/D, LCS-AMSC30, NP-FM55H, RM-S1AM and STP-SH1AM, are eligible to receive a $50 discount at time of purchase.

The Sony ? DSLR-A100 has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $1,099.99. Accompanying lenses have MSRPs starting at $479.99, while accessories have MSRPs starting at $49.99.
